Corporate Banking Syndicated Loan Administrator

 

The Horizon Group is searching for a Corporate Banking Syndicated Loan Administrator for one of our international banking clients located in Midtown, NYC. This position offers 10 days a month remote work from home.

  • $100-$110K Base plus bonus and free benefits paid for by the bank.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling all existing loan activities for the relevant internal business groups: loans, committed lines and letters of credit; maintain all loan-related reports; handle new funding, rollovers, fee schedules, repayment schedules, etc.
  • In support of Head of Loan Administration, perform supervisory function of junior members of Loan Administration.
  • Review Loan documentation and forms to ensure proper recording of transactions.
  • Oversee the handling of all correspondence regarding syndicated loans, standby letters of credit, bank bonds, etc.; conduct and supervise manual billing process regarding interest and fees in a timely fashion; oversee the audit confirmation process.
  • Perform the administrative agent function for all syndicated loans/facilities; maintain depository accounts for relevant customers; ensure the proper flow of information and funds between borrowers and participants.
  • Create and update forms and templates which become necessary in the workflow.
  • Prepare loan related accounting batch entries and handle manual adjustments to income reports; maintain Loan Administration filing system and scan relevant documentation into the bank’s electronic filing system.
  • Perform error reporting for any problems encountered in the bank’s Account Maintenance systems and assist the IT Department in the location, resolution and testing of fixes for such errors.
  • Prepare and supervise the correct input of data
  • Adhere to relevant Compliance policies and procedures, including those for Operational Risk and BSA/AML/CIP programs.
  • Review the OFAC/GWL report, communicate possible “false hits” and hits to Compliance in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that new customer input records or amendments have proper approval.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 5 -7 years of experience handling Syndicated loans for an International Bank
  • Knowledge of Letters of Credit
  • Experience with Commercial Real Estate, Structured Finance, Treasury lending
  • Experience with Compliance policies and procedures, including those for Operational Risk and the BSA/AML/CIP program
  • Excellent communication skills
