IT Infrastructure Specialist

The Horizon Group is searching for an IT Infrastructure Specialist for one of our clients located in New York City. Our client is a full-service boutique investment bank catering to growth-minded, high-net worth individuals, family offices, small-to-midsized institutions, entrepreneurs, and founders. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software and network issues. You will install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage endpoints via Intune and identity management through Entra ID.
  • Manage corporate workstation mobile device management (MDM) and workstation security
  • Provide IT service desk support including change requests, troubleshooting, onboarding/offboarding, equipment management, and break/fix support
  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Monitors transactions regularly to ensure policy and procedures are in accordance with service level agreement.
  • Manage network printers, televisions, and conference rooms

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of IT administration experience in Financial Services and/or broker dealer
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite and Microsoft Admin Centers
  • Expert knowledge of macOS and Windows 10 & 11
  • Working knowledge of Azure AD
  • Strong management experience with Office365, including Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Experience with cloud service management of Zoom.
  • Strong knowledge of servers, telephony, and networks
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility and adaptability—you will be juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Be willing to be on-call as needed
