The Horizon Group is searching for a Reconciliation / Treasury Support Assistant for one of our international banking clients located in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- You will act as the deputy to the Treasury Support/Settlements Administrator for trade entries and performs the processing of Foreign Exchange trades. This includes:
- Back Office Trade review & authorization
- Confirmations & tracers
- Cancelations and terminations
- Maintain FX position
- Performs Payment Operations. This includes:
- Conduct reconciliations
- Reconcile and prepare broker invoices for approval
- Prepares the monthly transactions reports for local and Head Office Management in the area of responsibility. This includes:
- Dealing & Lending Transactions Report
- P & R Statistics report
- Key Risk Indicators Report Application testing. This includes:
- Address needs for error fixes and enhancements
- Design of test cases
- Perform tests for error fixes and enhancements
Other Responsibilities:
- Supports Loan Administration in processing of Letters of Credit draw inputs
- Ensures “need to have” physical & system access as related to Treasury Support/Settlements
- Assists with the preparation of responses and timely implementation of corrective actions for audit findings
- Adheres to and maintains detailed knowledge of the policies, procedures and programs applicable to Treasury Support/Settlements as documented in policies and procedures
- Remains current on technology and best practices in banking as it relates to this position's responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities to improve speed, quality and quantity of work output through streamlining work-flows and improving automation in the Treasury Support/ Settlements area and to support the Bank’s sustainability goals

- In-depth experience in processing of Nostro account reconciliation in an international banking environment
