Reconciliation / Treasury Support Assistant

The Horizon Group is searching for a Reconciliation / Treasury Support Assistant for one of our international banking clients located in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

• You will act as the deputy to the Treasury Support/Settlements Administrator for trade entries and performs the processing of Foreign Exchange trades. This includes:
  • Back Office Trade review & authorization
  • Confirmations & tracers
  • Cancelations and terminations
  • Maintain FX position

• Performs Payment Operations. This includes:
  • Conduct reconciliations
  • Reconcile and prepare broker invoices for approval

• Prepares the monthly transactions reports for local and Head Office Management in the area of responsibility. This includes:
  • Dealing & Lending Transactions Report
  • P & R Statistics report

• Key Risk Indicators Report Application testing. This includes:
  • Address needs for error fixes and enhancements
  • Design of test cases
  • Perform tests for error fixes and enhancements

Other Responsibilities:

• Supports Loan Administration in processing of Letters of Credit draw inputs
• Ensures “need to have” physical & system access as related to Treasury Support/Settlements
• Assists with the preparation of responses and timely implementation of corrective actions for audit findings
• Adheres to and maintains detailed knowledge of the policies, procedures and programs applicable to Treasury Support/Settlements as documented in policies and procedures
• Remains current on technology and best practices in banking as it relates to this position's responsibilities
• Identifies opportunities to improve speed, quality and quantity of work output through streamlining work-flows and improving automation in the Treasury Support/ Settlements area and to support the Bank’s sustainability goals

• In-depth experience in processing of Nostro account reconciliation in an international banking environment
