Product Control and Operational Support Job

 

Main Function

The main function is to provide product control, operational and trade support functionality for Commodity Derivative Business. Specifically, this is achieved by providing trade reconciliations, OTC transaction management services to our internal and external client base and post-trade support in relation to transaction documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of trades, analysis and reporting of profit and loss
• Prepare and send daily position statements to clients
• Month end reconciliations and reporting performance
• Reconciling daily cash movements and funding requirements
• Producing transaction documentation for vanilla and Derivatives transactions
• Producing, issuing and checking ISDA confirmations
• Maintaining database of executed confirmations
• Compliance oversight of the commodity derivatives business
• Meeting regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist with the on-boarding of new clients

 

Job Requirements

• Commodities and Derivatives product control experience (minimum three years) is a must
• Experience with the daily and month end accounting
• The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Excel skills (VBA a plus)
• Strong accounting background, with previous experience in a commodity trading environment highly beneficial
• Accounting qualification is strongly preferable
