Practice Startup Task List

Listed below is a comprehensive list of the various activities that are critical to the development of a successful medical practice. Since each physician enters the practice environment with different interests, business skills, resources, and financial support, we are not able to gauge which of these tasks are already complete, which will be performed by the physician or his/her existing advisors, and which need the professional attention of The Horizon Group.

Please review each of the items below and indicate if the task is not applicable to your situation (N/A), will be performed, or has been performed, by you or someone affiliated with you (YOU), or if it is something that you will require our assistance to completed (THG). Once you have completed this please return it to our office and we will prepare a Proposal that outlines the tasks, indicates the timeframe for completion, and provides you with a firm estimate of the costs involved.

Our firm is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of practice professionals. While you will be assigned a lead consultant who will be your primary contact and liaison, you will draw upon the experience and expertise of reimbursement specialists, office managers, coding professionals, and senior level practice administrators.
